About Me
I am an Adjunct Fellow at the San Francisco office of the US Business &
Industry Council, a Washington think tank founded in 1933.  I was pre-
viously an economist in private practice, mostly serving hedge funds and
private equity firms.  My specialty is protectionism and industrial policy.
Educated at Columbia University and the University of Chicago, I live in
San Francisco with my wife and daughter.
